The web site is delivering excellent value to the Class membership. As reported here last year, the Class web site and electronic “bulletin board” have successfully transformed the way the Class and its members communicate.

The “bulletin board” within the web site allows members to “post” questions, news, ideas, etc. directly and instantly to the entire membership! What’s more, ALL members can easily visit the bulletin board regularly to read breaking news and/or reply to posted questions with their answers or experience.

Along with providing members an easy way to obtain answers or advice on technical matters, the bulletin board has enabled several previously unknown owners to contact the Class, has facilitated several sales of equipment and has even assisted in transfer of ownership on a few boats!

OWNERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ESTABLISH A USE PROFILE ON THE WEB SITE.
One such capability of the bulletin board is the ability for members to establish a “user profile”. Not only will this help the Officers keep track of and inform owners, but this feature allows members considerable control over how the bulletin board serves them.

SEVERAL PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN OWNERS HAVE FOUND THE CLASS VIA THE WEB SITE.
One of the greatest benefits to the Class is that we are finding more 9.1 owners and they are finding us via the web site. In the past year, several previously unknown owners ahave made contact through the web site.

PLEASE REMEMBER: The 2002 Membership form is included in this mailing and also posted on the board. Print it out and mail with your dues.
