Lightning Rod sailed in WFORC last weekend. There were six races in the regatta which started with two days of light air followed by 22 gusting to 28 on Sunday. Day one in the first race Lightning Rod finished 3rd out of a fleet on 9 ranging from a 132 Tartan 10 to a 207 Kiwi 21. Saturday we heated it up with a win in the second race, but had a bad third race with an 8th. The fourth race we were back with a third. With a crew of only 5 on Sunday in heavy air we had a 7th and an 8th to finish 4th overall.
