Hello all 9.1 racers and enthusiasts. I am pleased to announce that our annual meeting will be held on Saturday the 5th of February at 11:00 AM above Strictly Sail's convention. The room is yet to be announced. Please pass the word. It would be great if every 9.1 could be represented.

The awards for this season will be presented by the class officers. This year we used the 66 percent rule so if one yacht missed a regatta they would be able to score races rather than DNC. We ran into a problem because the NOODS this year got seven (7) races off rather than five (5), the usual number that was expected. So the number of races that counted for the 2004 season was eleven. In first place this year was Dick Daniels and his team on Entropy. Their score is made up of eleven bullets,(11)points. Second this year is Greg Young and his team on Spectra with (21) points. Third goes to Mr. Chris Sundberg and the team on Stimulator with 30 points. Fourth goes to Mr. George Darrell and crew on Paradox with 36 points. The rest of the yachts were, Kato (39), Kahuna (54), Tenacity (76), Truant (80). The last two yachts in the series were Saucy and Scooter. They could only make one the events and scored (83) and (91) respectively.
Just a note for 2005, if the NOODS in Chicago are going to be in our series, mark June 17-19th on your calendar and lets get atleast eight boats on the line. Fair Winds, Carl Petersen - Race Chairman
