I have my rig down to get the rod, reheaded and a Harken Unit 1 put on. I noticed that the Headstay toggle was held in place by a pin, but that pin is held in place by the crown of two flathead screws., additionally, with the halyard guard in place, there is no way for the pin to come out. Are you talking about the pin and cotter key on the part of the headstay that attaches to the toggle I am talking about?

Thanks,
William Shirley
