Where are we at with the carbon poles? I understand that carbon poles are now allowed by the Class rules. I also read somewhere else on this site that some owners were working with a supplier to get carbon poles for 9.1s and T-10s at a fair price. Any follow-up on this issue? Instead of buying a custom finished pole, I am thinking about replacing my current 12.0' alum tube with a 13.2' carbon tube (Atrevida is a short rig 9.1 indeed), adapted to the current end fittings. I would like to know if someone already had any experience with that (what could be the recommended specs for a such a carbon tube). Gilles Fontan "Atrevida" #012 |
