I'm working on putting in a new holding tank as many of you seem to have already done. I've read jeff's nice article, but I have a cupboard under the v-berth and the tank mockup I made seems to need to sit aft more than I can put it . Forward it takes up too much storage space. I'm on the hard right now and would like to put my direct discharge thru hull in as my boat didn't come equipped with one. And deal with the tank later(I might regret working backwards ) Where is it located on other boats? It seems possible to barely fit onejust forward of the main bulkhead seperating the head and v-berthand behind the stringer.? Which would be right along side the depth and speed transducers(just replaced those). Or it seems it would have to be in the same area as the holding tank??
