I have just found several leaks in the bottom of the fresh water tank. On removing the tank, the entire underside of the tank is badly corroded where it rests on the sole under the starboard berth. I am certain that this is caused by the lack of ventilation where the bottom of the tank is in contact with the sole.

I would advise everyone to check this right away. Removal of the empty tank is fairly easy. I advise everyone to remove the tank, clean up all of the corrosion on the outside, and fill it with water to check for leaks. If your tank is still sound, reinstall it with some air space under the tank to prevent further corrosion. There is enough headroom under the berth to set the tank 1/2" or so above the sole (like the fuel tank) so the space under it can dry out.
