I will need to rebuild mine this fall (2005). How has the repair held up after four years? Would you do anything differently? In the top photo, why did you insert that G-10 cover. It would appear that the mast plate would be equally well supported by the fore and aft members of the mast step without it. Thanks, John Brady, #50
