I wouldn't recommend the flip flop method. The pieces are not symetrical. I like the Starboard replacements over the originals. The material is inherently slippery and is more likely to dent than crack if something whacks it hard enough. The original tracks are 3/4" high. I machined my new ones to be just under 1" high. I used a 1/4" round over on the edges and it was much less of a bruise produce on the 6.9 (note: on the 6.9 the tracks are not covered by a sea hood) |
