It was clogged with rust pretty badly. The engine sounds noticeably better revs higher and the boat motors much better. I can now motor at about 6 knots at 2800 rpm. I have pushed it to 6.3 in flat water and about 3000 rpm but I do get some uncomfortable vibration. I think the next step is to go through the process of aligning my engine. That seems to be the next logical step.
