Bronte Rocks is coming up soon and 7 S2 9.1’s are up for the regatta <bronterocks.com>. If any more decide to come we will consider designating it the Canadian S2 9.1 championships!
As for other racing on Lake Ontario ------ 2 S2 9.1’s did the Lake Ontario 300 this year. Heart Breaker came first in double handed division 2 ( 3 days, 29.21 min); and Paladen came 2nd in fully crewed division 2 (3 days, 2 hours, 45.10 min)
Next year it would be great to see more S2’s do this race ----- after all it is the longest annual freshwater race in the world. This year there were over 130 competitors in this race. |
